# About Noctil

> Noctil was created to solve the data, matching and operational problems that sit between creative works, rights and revenue. Since 2016, that foundation has evolved into a configurable platform supporting high-volume music and audiovisual rights workflows.

Noctil is a configurable technology platform for assets, metadata, contracts, rights and royalties across the business of music and media. It combines purpose-built engines — DataFort, MatchIQ, ProcessEngine and OrgLink — so organizations can run rights and royalty operations without rebuilding the technology underneath.

Founded in 2016 (a subsidiary of Kongur Tiube LLC), Noctil began with a matching MVP and grew into MatchIQ, a user interface for large/diverse data, configurable data-science capabilities, and the no-code/configurable Noctil Platform.
